My name is Vinay and I am a computer science graduate and game developer. This site is my Devlog for my first project, Infernal Arena, a roguelike arena battler where the player fights against increasingly more difficult enemies in the arena.
I love to play games and I also have a passion for coding, so putting them together is something that I have had an interest in. Other projects that I have worked on can be found here
The Game
Infernal Arena heavily focuses on melee-based combat such as dodging, parrying, and well, melee. The end goal is to get as far as you can in the arena whilst facing mobs, mini-bosses, and bosses. Every round will offer new challenges and rewards making each playthrough unique.
The Goal
This is probably the biggest project that I have ever done and although I do have experience in coding from university and various projects, game development is something that I am relatively new to. This might seem like a recipe for disaster, and you’re right, it is. Despite this I am willing to see this more of as a learning experience and want to create more in the future!
