Devlog 0.4 – All that glitters

Today’s progress has actually shifted more towards getting a shop set up. This is one of the main feedback loops that I want within the game. After every x rounds the player has survived the shop opens up to the player in order to help them get through whatever trials lay ahead.

Here is a shop mockup UI that I spent today working on:

My vision is that the player will have a selection from 6 different items to purchase. The items here are placeholders of items that will be in the game. As for the fella on the top right, I didn’t really know who would be managing the shop. He might or might not stay.

Yes that’s all for today. I really wanted to get that Skeleton Archer set up but I just lost track of time unfortunately. That will be my first priority in the next update so stay tuned.
